The Fitur Congresses are an initiative for promoting meetings between businesses, and it is an unmissable event on the calendar for every company involved in the corporate meetings market.

Castellón CBI is to take part in the FITUR CONGRESSES with an average of 12 meetings per day throughout the duration of the event, with Professional Meetings Organisers, Tour Operators and national and international travel wholesalers. In addition, Castellón CBI has set up an agenda of business meetings with a series of FITUR exhibitors of interest for marketing and positioning inland Castellón as a corporate meetings destination.

Castellón CBI Presentation

The presentation of the Castellón Inland Convention Bureau project is to be held on the 9th December at the Museum of Valltorta (Tírig). The heads of the three institutions participating in the development of the project, as well as business leaders, who are to become members of the Castellón CBI, are to attend the event. The CBI is a mixed (public-private) body whose aim is to promote the inland areas of Castellón province within the market segment of corporate meetings. This will enable the business sector to increase occupation levels in their establishments and improve results.

The Castellón CBI commenced operation at the start of 2009 and today it has its own website, brand logo and brochures. Its product guide is expected to be completed by December and it is to begin operation by the end of the year, guaranteeing its participation in Workshops such as INTUR Business (18-20 November) EIBTM Barcelona (1-3 December), FITUR Congress 2010 (18-19 January) and TCV 2010 (25 January).

This is an ambitious project involving painstaking and protracted field work during which all establishments meeting the criteria to be included in the product and who have expressed an interest in taking part in the project are to be visited.
